Hey beautifuls. How are we doing this fine Friday? I hope all of us are in good and healthy spirit. I am now at Sydney International Airport, heading to my home country, Indonesia. I am going to be attending my cousin’s wedding. She is 3 years younger than me and she’s already getting married so, I am just preparing my answer to the neverending question: When are you getting married?

Now, I want to be married to my loving boyfriend someday but not now or in the near future, maybe in the farrrr future. 🙂

I am doubly excited because I will be doing my own hair and makeup for this wedding. I can not wait!!!!

After the wedding, my Momma and I are goin to Singapore to do some check up at some hospital for her. Nothing serious at all, it’s just her menopause stuff. hehe, sorry, Mom. I know you like to think you’re still young. ;P

Anyway, with that being said I will update you when I am done with my trip and I’ll talk to you guys soon. xx

MY FIRST CLUBBING EXPERIENCE!! (swearing involved, so if you have sensitive eyes, go look elsewhere)

Hey, beautifuls. How are you doing? I wanted to follow up on the tag post I just did last week. It was the one nominated by bittersweetxbeauty and I had to state 7 facts about myself. I did mention that I’d never been clubbing. That was in fact true. I had been to clubs, but I’d never done clubbing. I’d been to maybe 3 different clubs in my 25 years of living in this world haha. But I’d always stayed for 30 minutes and then went home. And then, a new fellow blogger friend of mine, Amy, commented that I didn’t miss anything. Well, I had to agree with you girl, because this is my story.

Last weekend I freakin went to a club and legit stayed there for a good amount of time, an hour and a half, but whose counting.

Anyway, first of all, let me paint you a picture. I was there with my boyfriend who doesn’t dance, my two friends who I’ve known for a long time, maybe 4 years, and two new friends whom I just met that day.

So we went inside and it was eleven at night. The club was packed and the dancefloor was on. I was like, hmmm this is a good sign. So my boyfriend sat down and guarded my bag while the five of us went on the dance floor. Half an hour after that, the two new friends sat down next to my boyfriend. I was still dancing. Half an hour later, I was feeling tired, I sat down in the corner, next to my boyfriend. My two friends were looking at their phone. It was dark in the club so it looked like they were texting each other which was hilarious!

Suddenly out of nowhere. Two blokes started to mock my new friends. They were pointing at them and laughing and pulling their phones. I was like wtf. Bear in mind you guys, I don’t drink. So, this is me, fucking sober and watch the entire thing with a clear fucking mind.

I was like, these dudes are being mean. And then, all the sudden, the flash on their phones went on. Then I thought, are you fucking kidding me? They were taking pictures of my friends! So, I stood up, approached one of the bloke and freakin slap his hand so hard I felt a sting on my hand, and I said, “You don’t have to be a fucking dick about it, ass!” or something maybe more rude along that line.

The guy was shocked and he looked at me and said, “Relax, lady… relax!”

What a fucking dick… I thought to myself. I just gave him a glare and pointed my finger at him.

My friends looked at me and maybe they were grateful of my action I don’t know, but all I was thinking after I left the club was, what a moron I was behaving! I almost knocked his phone to the ground and imagine if I had. He had a fuckin 6s! I only had a 4s. I wouldn’t want to replace his phone if that had happened.

Soooo many things could have gone wrong that night! His girlfriend could have been there (he doesn’t look like he got a fucking girlfriend because he was such an asshole) and she could have bitch slap the hell out of me and said, “keep your paws of ma man” or something rather. He could have gotten angry and God forbid, shoved me down or something like that.

Anyway, it was NOT a good experience for me, you guys. I behaved stupidly, he behaved also fucking idiotic, not gonna lie, but I was glad that I sort of defended my friends from being bullied by two idiots. But… I was also sorry by my action. I should have approached him nicely. I guess.

So, yes, that’s it for today’s post, you guys. Do YOU have a funny/horrifying/annoying clubbing experience? If you do, share it down below! For me, I think it’s official… clubbing sucks… 😀

Til next time.

The Lovely Blog Award :)

Hey, Lovelies. I have been nominated by the Lovely Bittersweetxbeauty for the Lovely Blog Award! Thank you so much for the nomination. Everyone, her channel is awesome and she’s one of the beauty bloggers who often communicates with me, and commenting on my posts, so I was very happy that this tag came from her. 🙂

There’s so much love in this post. So, let’s keep that going, okay? The rules to this award are:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog!
  2. List the rules and display the award!
  3. List 7 interesting facts about yourself!
  4. Nominate some bloggers who you think deserve this award!

Okay, without further a due, 7 facts about myself:

  1. I have never gone clubbing. Can you believe it. In 25 years, I have never stepped into a club. I have gone dancing, but not proper clubbing. Maybe because inside I’m 50, you guys. I’m not even kidding. lol. I think the fact that I don’t drink adds to the reason why I don’t go to clubs, but, I will do this before the year ends!
  2. I have lived in four different countries, not visited, but actually lived there and studied there. China, Australia, USA, Indonesia. 🙂
  3. I have never been to Europe, but that soon would be ticked off sometimes next year as my boyfriend is from Germany.
  4. I love love lovvveeee travelling. Bangkok is the best city on earth. Kuala Lumpur is awesome as well. Singapore is tiny but so rich and diverse in culture. Boston is cold as f@#$. NY is miserable in winter. New Zealand… is just a smaller version of Australia. Melbourne is the most artsy city. Shanghai is the most vibrant city. South Korea is amazing. Hongkong in summer is like hell on earth. Macau’s casinos won’t make you sleep for weeks… Gaaahhh…I just LOVE travelling. Solo travel is the best 😉 Don’t travel with a tour group. That’s the worst!!lba
  5. I don’t own a car because I live in the city and work provided a shuttle bus for everyone who work in the department, and it leaves from the swimming pool behind my apartment. So, I don’t really need one. Here in Australia, rego is fucking ridiculous! Rego is short for registration btw.
  6. I am a KFC addict. That’s the one junkfood that I freakin love. Indonesia got the best KFC though. IF you had a chance to go to Indonesia, go to their KFC. It’s just sooo different than KFC anywhere. Everytime I travel, I always ALWAYS try their KFCs, and so far. Indonesia, you got the best one!
  7. Lastly, I published a novel when I was thirteen. It was such an embarrassing story you guys. I don’t even wanna get into it. I believe I sold 5000 copies. But the story was sooo tacky and ew! Now that I think about it, 12 years later! lol.

So, the people that I tag are the ones that often commented and communicated with me through my blog, so, I of course tag my gurls:

Bronagh. She’s almost completed her September blogging challenge. Which meant she had to blog every single day in September. And by the time this post was up, she’s probably writing her last post! Good on ya, love!

Erin. She’s one of my oldest friend on my blog and she’s super sweet, her blog is very easy to read as well. xo

Sophie. She’s one of my newest friend on my blog and I love reading and discovering her blog. Her recent travel to London, which was documented very well on her blog will make you envious. It did a number on me! 😀

That’s it for today, I hope you guys enjoy reading this post, thumbs up if you like it and I’ll see you lovelies in the next post!

Hello, everyone! Hope ya’ll are having a great day so far. Don’t judge me because of the title of this post. I mean… makeup geek is my favorite brand and they have great quality products that are affordable and I’m all about makeup that doesn’t burn your pockets!

So I recently purchased 4 of the blushes, let’s just dive right into the swatches.

  1. The first one is called Infatuation. This shade is gorg! It’s a medium terracotta shade, so you can use it to bronze up the face if you have fair skin, however, this will look a bit orangy so I would stick to use this as a blush.

  2. The second one is called summer fling. It is a beautiful peachy orange color. It’s very soft looking and perfect if you have a bit of a tan goin on. And this was and still is 50% off on the website. So, a double bonus!
    summer fling
    summer fling

    summer fling
    summer fling
  3. The third one is a soft pink shade called spell bound. I was looking for a soft pink shade as I don’t own any soft pink blush, so I picked up this one.

  4. Lastly, romance. Romance is a soft pink shade as well with rosy undertone and a slight shimmer. Not too much that its over the top, just enough to give you that glow.

There you have it, guys! Makeupgeek blushes. I don’t have to convince you in the review that they’re all pigmented and very long lasting because those babies wouldn’t lie. Usually after I put on my makeup at 8am, by 12pm, the blushes are gone. Adios, but not these babies. These stay put, you guys and I just put the tiniest amount because they’re that pigmented!!

Anyway, I hope you find this review and swatches helpful. I’ll see you in the next post! xx

Hello beautifuls! How are you doing? I’m back from a short holiday to visit my bf’s nephew. He is 1o months old and just super duper cute 🙂 But now i’m back and I have an exciting review for you guys which is the makeup geek foiled shadow. Now, I only bought ONE. ONE is enough for me, as I’ve mentioned I have hooded lids, so sparkling eyeshadows don’t tend to work on hooded lids because they reflect the lights and make your eyes even more heavy. So, I was like alright I’ll try only one. 🙂

Here it is.

DSC07762 DSC07763 DSC07764 this shade is called flame thrower.

I thought the name was sooooo appropriate for this product because as you can see the shade resembles the circus fiery flame, its very coppery and metalic. Super pigmented. Check out this swatch.

DSC07765 that is one swipe, people!

A while ago, I hauled a house of lashes haul and I bought a lot of them, here I’m demo-ing two of them. In Bombshell and Dollface.

This is bombshell.

This style resembles the ardell demi wispies but not as fluttery.

This is Dollface

When I wear it, I look like one of those creepy dolls in the movies. lol. I guess thats why they call them dollface.

On my lids I’m wearing the foiled eyeshadow flame thrower

I like the bombshell lashes better obviously but if you guys like drama, then I’d choose dollface. House of lashes lashes are not that expensive, I bought dollface for 7 dollars and bombshell also for 7 dollars. If you buy 3 packs they’re only 18 dollars. 🙂 And the shadow I believe costs 9.99, it is long wearing, very pigmented, easy to blend. If you can pull off wearing sparkly eyeshadow I highly recommend the foiled shadow by makeupgeek!

I hope you find this review helpful, if you like this post please don’t forget to like it and subscribe to me, comment down below about anything! and until I see you in the next post, fellow beauty noobies. xx

Hello Everyone! How are you??

I hope everyone is having a great week! And hopefully your week is better than mine as you see from the title I have to share not one but TWO disappointing products! To say I was disappointed was an understatement. I seriously don’t even know why oh why I spent money on these products. In Indonesia we have a saying “Lapar Mata” which means “Hungry Eyes” lol. It’s an idiom that we use when you’re not really hungry, but your eyes are. You…are not! This is the case of hungry eyes.

I bought these of beautybay website when they were having a sale I was so excited I even posted about it now I just feel stupid doing so.

I bought the Urban Decay Naked Skin bronzing balm and naked skin foundation in the shade 6.5. I bought the shade 4.0 from Glambot but it was clearly too light for me so I was like… I’ll mix it with the 6.5.

I like the naked skin foundation shade 4.0 eventhough it was way too light for me but I like the formulation and such. I bought that off Glambot, glambot is where I get high end makeup for half the price as they are second hand makeup. But the UD Naked Skin foundation smells like VODKA. Legit, it smells horrible. Ew. I can’t even wear it because I can’t stand the smell of it. YUCK!

DSC07514 DSC07513

And the beauty balm, don’t even get me started. Tho it did give me a bronzy glow, it just didnt work at all for me. The formulation is terrible. It clings to my dry patches and the smell just horrendous! Like… come on, UD. Step up your game!

Moral of the story: if your eyes are hungry. Freaking ignore them, guys. Learn from my lesson. Regret always come… and when it does, it’s such a bitch! Argh! But, I always end on a positive note here on my blog, so if you find this review helpful please give me a big LIKE 🙂 and comment down below whether there is/are products I need to be aware of.

Where do I buy US Drugstore Products (Elf, Physicians Formula, Real Techniques)? + COUPON CODE

Hello Beautiful Friends 🙂

I hope y’all enjoying your weekend. I am just chillin and blogging at home. I just wanted to share a website where I buy most of my drugstore products from.

Have you ever heard of iherb? It’s a website where you can buy drugstore products and all organic and natural products (cruelty free). It doesn’t only sell makeup, it sells make up remover, food like protein bars, cereals, supplements, herbs, baby stuff, etc.

I usually buy my real techniques brushes from here. The price is literally half the price if you get the product from priceline!

I also buy elf products, physicians formula, bdellium tools brushes, which is one of my fav brushes. They cost so much cheaper here than in any other website (trust me, I’ve done my research). They also offer free shipping! Now, the bad thing about this free shipping offer is that the amount changes everyday. I don’t know why. When they have a promo going on usually you can spend 40 dollars then get free shipping, nowadays you have to spend around 60-70 dollars to get free shipping. But, the shipping rate is not bad to begin with. But hey, no one wants to pay for shipping, right?

I have a referral code that you can use, I don’t make money or commission off of it, I think they just give store credits, so feel free to pass that along to your family and friends, this code will save you around 5 bucks for your first purchase 🙂

Put that when you check out and you’ll be good to go!

Well, that’s all I have to say, folks. If you find this post helpful please give it a thumbs up. And I will see you next time. xx

My beautiful friends…

Soooo today I have for you… a post… of a first impression review of the most talked about foundation in the beauty world today. It’s the too faced born this way foundation. Yayyyy.

the box and the packaging
the box and the packaging
the beautiful glass bottle
the beautiful glass bottle
how gorgeous is this packaging?!!
how gorgeous is this packaging?!!

I purchased this foundation through the mecca website and my first impression of this foundation is… this is a great foundation! I’ll copy paste what it said in the box for you:

“Born this way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way.”

It is a medium to full coverage, so you can build it up easily. I like applying this foundation with a brush. I have super duper oily skin, so I did apply it with a beauty blender and I was hella oily in just 3 hours.

It has hyaluronic acid which means that it smoothens the appearance of lines and wrinkles, which is so true. It covers up all the imperfections I have but still looking like my skin. It didn’t feel cakey whatsoever.

Although it claimed to be oil free but I still have shiny forehead and t zone within a few hours after applying this foundation so I don’t think that I would claim this as oil free. That my con. But I like the formula, the packaging is so cute, but that’s not whats important. I’d rather buy the ugliest looking foundation but has the best formula. I don’t judge the book by its cover. This applies to buying makeup 🙂

Here’s the swatches for you guys. I got the shade sand as you can see that this shade is like the perfect golden tone. It’s not too yellow like some of my other foundation. It’s just right. This retails for 58AUD, so it is hella expensive. I mean almost as expensive as mac and makeupforever HD. But too faced is one of my fav company because it is certified cruelty free. 🙂

SO… will I purchase this foundation? Yes, PROVIDING that I haven’t found any foundation that is better than this one and more affordable.

I hope you find this review helpful and please let me know in the comments below what you think of this foundation and if you are interested getting this yourself 🙂

Until next time, my loves.

My CURRENT Skin Care Routine: OILY SKIN

Hi, beautifuls, how are you enjoying your weekend so far? I hope you’re having fun as always and if you are out and about don’t forget to take care of yo face when you come home. 🙂

Taking care of our face is very important and like they say, you have to have a nice canvas if you want your makeup to apply nicely. I so totally agree. My skin is oily. It is extremely oily in the T zone area and oily in the eyelids too. I have tried so many different skin care products, but this is the latest one that I’m trying out and I like it so far. It really leaves my skin matte longer.

my skin care go to
my skin care go to

They’re all from the brand origins. I chose that brand because it is the safest one I could find on the market, it has no paraben, no phenoxyethanol, no sulphates, and all that bad stuff. That is a HUGE point for me.Because skin care is what I use underneath my makeup. So I want it to be safe for my face. Okay, let’s dig in. I purchased the cleanser, moisturiser and eye cream.

DSC07429this is the cleanser. Origins Zero Oil face wash

DSC07428this is the moisturiser. Also the Zero Oil one.

DSC07427 and this little guy is the eye cream.

Now, for cleanser and moisturiser I’m not too fussy because my skin is not acne prone and it’s just an alright texture, so, most face wash will agree on my face, except for the one that I reviewed a few month ago, which I will link it right here. That one was just a nightmare. Anyway, this ginzing refreshing eye cream claims to reduce puffyness and dark circle under your eyes and I have been using it for a few months now and so far, so good. I can see how it cancels out the puffyness around my eyes, so I’ll keep using this until I ran out.

I recommend this product if you are trying out a new skin care product. I purchased this from and they are not that expensive. The cleanser is about 30-32AUD, moisturiser around the same price and the eye cream was for 39 AUD but now the price has gone up to 44AUD. I take a look at the website and I was kind of disappointed that it went up 😦

Now, the big question is that will I repurchase this?

Yes 🙂

I hope you guys enjoy this mini review and my skin care routine for oily skin. Til next time.
